Dr. Abedini’s broad experience in dental field since 2007 and more specifically in orthodontics gives her passion to treat patients who need advanced surgical treatment or clear aligners such as Invisalign, or patients with special needs.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in Japanese and now living in Houston excites her to start learning Spanish in her free time and get to know more about Texas.

After finishing graduate school, Dr. Carrion worked in the Dallas area in the telecommunications industry. He was a Network Architect, was promoted to Product Line Manager, and shortly thereafter was promoted again to Project Manager. He earned several industry awards, and was awarded two US Patents that contributed to the development of today’s wireless internet. While working as a Network Architect, Dr.
Carrion married his wife Amy Loudon, and they have two children – Scott and Betty.
Besides work and family life , Dr. Carrion was also an athlete. He represented the United States in three World Championships of Pelota Vasca (modality of Frontenis) placing fourth, twice. He also represented Team USA in several international invitational Pelota competitions in France, Spain, Mexico, and the USA.
Dr. Carrion and his family then moved to Houston so that he could fulfill his life-long dream of becoming a Dentist. He earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. Dr. Carrion has been· involved in promoting health care in the Houston community through various organizations and events, such as the Texas Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile.
Dr. Carrion spends as much time as possible with his family. He likes going to the movies and enjoys playing Frontenis, Racquetball, and Golf.

Dr. Chuks has an extensive background in general/family dentistry including restoration of dental implants with crowns, bridges and dentures, in addition to esthetic reconstruction. Dr. Gainey is a recipient of many awards such as Chief Resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center Department of Pediatric Residency (2017), Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center Outstanding Leadership In Dental Outreach (2017), Co-Chief Resident at the University Science Center Houston (2014), University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston GPR Best Resident Award (2013), The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award (2012) and the National Dental Association Foundation/ Colgate-Palmolive Scholarship (2011). In 2012, Dr. Haddad started her position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic & Biomedical Sciences at UT School of Dentistry and the following year was the recipient of the highly coveted John Freeman Teaching Award. Over the years, Dr. Haddad has served the Houston community selflessly through numerous community outreach programs and fundraisers focused on increasing awareness of oral cancer. She is the Founder of the Cancer, No More! foundation and co-chaired for the Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston Best Friend’s Brunch, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Gold Luncheon, the Society for the Performing Arts Gala and the first Texas Taste Teaser Fundraiser that provided funds to conduct free dental services for underprivileged children, army veterans and the homeless population in the Greater Houston area. Dr. Haddad has been recognized as a STEAM Role Model by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce and was honored and named by the Houston Woman Magazine in the Spring of 2019 as one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2018.

Dr. Ramin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2019 ranking Top 23% of his class. During his time with New York University he volunteered multiple times a year for underserved communities providing dental screenings, diagnosis and treatment on site. He also served as a Prosthodontics and Cariology Teaching Assistant while mentoring 1st and 2nd year dental students.

Through dentistry, Dr. Radford has touched the lives of thousands of children in the Houston area. In the late 1980’s, he received national attention for discovering and reporting a child abuse case for an incident involving a pellet gun. Recently Dr. Radford’s practice, Almeda Dental Group, has become the dental home to the Houston area Chukwu Octuplets, for whom he will provide complimentary dental care until age 18.
Over the past 40 years, Dr. Radford has maintained a deep connection with his community through oral healthcare. He has designed and administered many dental service programs geared towards underprivileged youths, including the Head Start Program, the Model Cities Dental Program, the Migrant Workers Dental Program, the Follow Through Dental Program, and the Urban Development Program. Through these programs, ranging from 1969 until 1997, Dr. Radford has treated over 100,000 disadvantaged children.
A modern day pioneer, Dr. Radford was one of the first Pedodontists in Houston and one of the first African-American Pedodontists in the nation. He owns and operates one of the largest pediatric dental practices in the state of Texas. In addition, he is also one of the original cofounders of the John B. Coleman Building, formerly known as Almeda Medical Square, which was the first multi-story African-American owned medical center in Houston.
Dr. Garry Hamilton Radford, Jr. was born on October 5, 1938 in Marlin, Texas, a small city south of Waco. His father, Dr. Garry Hamilton Radford, Sr., practiced general dentistry in Waco for over 40 years, and was also the first elected African-American city councilman in Waco. As a child, Dr. Radford always dreamed that one day he would become a dentist like his father.
In 1959, Radford graduated from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. After college, he attended Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry from 1959 until 1963. When he graduated from dental school, Dr. Radford received 16 out of the 20 awards that were given, including: the Turpin Memorial Award, the American Academy of Dental Medicine Certificate of Merit, the American Academy or Oral Roentgenology Certificate of Recognition, the American Society of Dentistry for Children Certificate of Merit, the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators Achievement Award, and the Alpha Omega Fraternity Award for Excellence in Scholarship. Following dental school, Dr. Radford attended Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where he received his certification in pediatric dentistry along with the Outstanding Young Men of America Award in 1967.
Dr. Garry Radford belongs to a family of dentists. In addition to his father, his eldest daughter, Rhea, is a pediatric dentist as well. His second daughter, Rhonda, works alongside him as a dental hygienist.
Currently Dr. Radford serves as a board member of HealthVelocity Group, Ltd. In addition, he is also a member the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the National Dental Association, the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Head, Neck, Facial Pain, TMJ Orthodontics, the American Association for Functional Jaw Orthopedics and Board Certified by the American Academy of Chronic Pain Management..
