Dental implants are a long-term solution for replacing damaged or missing teeth since they can also keep your jaw bone healthy and prevent teeth from drifting or shifting when they are used to replace broken or missing teeth. They’re also very cost-effective since they function as a permanent fix.

Dental implants will allow you to smile with confidence, boost your self-esteem, and let you eat your favorite foods once again as soon as osseointegration (bone healing) is complete. All it takes is a single visit to our incredible dental team and you’ll be all set!

Dental Implant Care at Lovett Dental

There are a couple of dental implant care services that we provide:

  • Replacing one or multiple missing teeth with a dental implant
  • Applying snap-on overdentures
  • Applying hybrid fixed dentures (Teeth in one day)

Single Tooth Dental Implant

Cost: $2,999-$4,000

Once the tooth extraction is complete, we’ll be able to insert the single crown-supporting implant immediately. However, you must be eligible to receive same-day dental implants, the basis for which will be determined by our dental specialists using a CBCT (cone beam CT) scan during the free consultation. If you are eligible for the same-day dental implant procedure, contact us at (832) 804-7427

Benefits of Dentures Secured by Implants

There are numerous benefits to getting dentures that are secured to dental implants, including:

  • Compared to traditional dentures that cover around 70% of the roof of your mouth, dentures that are secured to dental implants do not take up as much space. This means that with implant-supported dentures, a person may once again enjoy every aspect of the foods they eat (especially flavor)!
  • Implant-supported dentures don’t move around in your mouth and provide a stable and strong bite. Conventional dentures, on the other hand, can move around, causing discomfort and can even cut you.
  • Peace of mind knowing that you don’t have to eat specific foods that could damage traditional dentures. With dentures that are secured by implants, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the foods you previously did, without any discomfort.
  • Implant-supported dentures don’t require any adhesives and are generally much easier to maintain. These fake teeth are incredibly lifelike and have a similar look and feel to real teeth. They’re also as strong as the real deal.
  • Dentures that are fixed to implants preserve the jaw’s bone mass by stimulating the bone constantly while in place. Conventional dentures can cause bone deterioration and can alter a person’s facial appearance since they need to be removed daily.

Different Dental Implant Options

You can get two different dental implant options at Lovett Dental - removable snap-on overdentures or permanent hybrid fixed dentures that can only be removed by our dental specialists. We recommend getting at least two implants placed in the jaw to anchor the dentures properly and distribute the bite force evenly.

Snap-On Overdentures

Cost: $9,999-$12,000

Following osseointegration, we place titanium posts into the dentures and onto every implant to secure the snap-on overdenture. These dentures are designed to be secure and fit snugly in your mouth and jaw which maximizes their effectiveness.

This is a removable type of denture that you can take out for maintenance or any other reason. Snap-on overdentures are an excellent alternative to conventional dentures that aren’t fixed in place and can cause discomfort after a while.

Fixed Hybrid Denture

Cost: $19,999 - $25,000

Fixed hybrid dentures (otherwise known as ‘Teeth in One Day’) are a type of dental implant-retained dentures that are fully and permanently attached to your dental implants. Therefore, they cannot be removed by anyone other than a dentist.

Fixed hybrid dentures are the best and most reliable option if you need to replace all of your teeth. It generally takes 4-6 dental implants to secure the denture in place properly.

Procedure & Duration for Dental Implants

  1. During your free consultation and dental appointment, we will do a CBCT scan of your mouth to determine whether or not dental implants are the best choice for you. If the diagnosis is positive, we’ll create a personalized and specialized dental treatment plan for you.
  2. After the treatment plan is complete, we will begin by scheduling the surgery to restore your smile. Keep in mind that you may have to be sedated to sleep for the procedure to take place. Once the procedure is done, you’ll have a temporary set of false teeth that look like the real ones to protect your gums and jawbone while they heal.
  3. Two weeks after the procedure, you’ll return to our dental office, where we will remove all sutures, check how they’re doing, and make any needed adjustments to guarantee continued functionality, feel, ease, and a gorgeous smile.
  4. Once 10-12 weeks pass, we’ll take impressions for your new permanent fixed dentures. We will also take an x-ray to verify if osseointegration is complete.
  5. Finally, after around 2-4 weeks, our team will place your new permanent fixed dentures so you can be well on your way to having a better smile, higher confidence, and more self-esteem!

Are Dental Implants Expensive?

It’s difficult to determine the cost of dental implants without a CBCT scan because their prices vary from person to person and are influenced by a couple of factors, including:

  • Is any extra dental work necessary prior to getting implants?
  • Are you getting implants for just one, multiple, or all of your teeth?
  • How are the implants going to be inserted specifically?

Schedule your free dental implant consultation now if you’re considering getting them but want to learn more about them, as well as undergo a CBCT scan so we can determine the price of your implants.

But, it must be said that dental implants are the best and most cost-effective way of restoring your smile thanks to their durability, aesthetics, and low maintenance requirements.
