Commercial teeth whiteners contain an active ingredient in peroxide, also known as hydrogen peroxide or carbamide. We don’t recommend attempting a teeth whitening procedure at home (even with commercial whiteners) prior to consulting your dentist.

In-office teeth whitening uses peroxide with up to 43% concentration which only qualified and experienced dentists can handle. At Lovett Dental, you won’t have to wait long to get your teeth whitened due to the use of high-concentration peroxide.
We also provide take-home teeth whitening kits that contain 3-20% peroxide for patients that prefer to whiten their teeth from the comfort of their homes or those that don’t qualify for an in-office whitening procedure.

Your dentist will use professional-strength whitening agents to achieve the best and quickest results; this process may be accompanied by heat, light, or both. Some patients may need multiple 30-60-minute office visits so we can recommend the best whitening procedure for your teeth but rest assured that you will get a beautiful, white smile regardless of which method is used.
